Great place with great food! The dog friendly patio is awesome! They even grilled a chicken breast for my pup. Beer cheese is delicious. Try the beer cheese burger and fries!

Absolutely amazing. Stopped in on our roadtrip to Phoenix and the atmosphere, food, and customer service were outstanding. Best Nashville hot sauce I’ve ever had and the wrap was immaculate.

Checked out the Gopher Grill while passing through on a road trip. The service and food were great. I absolutely loved the tiramisu cocktail. It was strong, but delicious. The game room upstairs gave the kids a chance to stretch their legs and unwind. I would return if we lived in the area. Definitely check them out!

Just visiting Effingham for the night, and we were very glad we found Gopher's Grill for dinner! The food and service were great, and the atmosphere was excellent. I had the Philly Cheesesteak (topped with cheese whiz, like it should be), and my wife had the SW Chicken Salad. Both were outstanding. There was also a great selection of local and regional beers at reasonable prices. We had a great time and would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for good food at a fun place.

Family lunch passing through the area... Our little dog was welcome in the patio!! Tasty adult beverages were made well and delicious. Ordered spinach artichoke dip and street fries for appetizers... More than needed but we wanted variety. Lunch was a steak quesadilla, salmon with green beans, Philly cheese steak with fries and a steak with brussel sprouts. Everyone left with a full belly. And the service was outstanding .

The food here is delicious! All I can say is wow! I got the fries that had pulled pork, barbecue sauce, coleslaw, and chopped pickles layered on top. Phenomenal

Excellent food, service, and atmosphere . The southwest chicken salad was delicious, and the margaritas were some of the best we've ever tasted. The schnitzel sandwich was great, and the potato salad was the best I've ever tasted in a restaurant, and I'm very picky about potato salad. Will definitely visit again the next time we're in Effingham.
